Privacy policy

Your scans stay on your device.

Little Doctor Lab is a pretend scanner for family play. It does not take real X-rays or examine medical conditions. This page explains what the app keeps on your device and what it never collects.

Saving is your choiceLive frames are never recorded. Images reach Photos only when you tap Save.

Photos and camera

Camera frames and photos you select are processed on your device to draw cartoon bones. They are not sent to the developer or to any scanning service. Camera frames are not recorded. Selected photos and scan results stay in the app's memory while you play. The app does not save them on its own.

When you tap Save, the app adds the pretend scan to Photos. If Photos access has not been allowed yet, a grown-up check comes before the add-only permission request. From then on, the saved image follows your device's Photos settings, including iCloud Photos if you use it. The app never reads your whole photo library; importing uses Apple's photo picker.

Local preferences

The app stores a few things on your device: the chosen animal badge, onboarding progress, the camera-free preference, the scan count, the sound preference, and the last day a grown-up reminder appeared. It never asks for a child's name, birthday, email or location. A pending-purchase marker may be stored locally; it does not unlock paid content.

Purchases

Apple handles purchases and restores through the App Store. The app checks verified StoreKit transactions to decide whether Full Body Unlock is available, including through Family Sharing where it is set up. The developer never receives payment card details. Apple's handling follows Apple's privacy practices and the purchaser's account settings.

No developer collection or tracking

The app has no accounts, ads, tracking software, third-party analytics or developer servers. The developer does not receive your camera frames, selected photos, badge or scan history. Apple may provide aggregate App Store reports and device diagnostics according to your Apple settings; those are separate from the app's local image processing.

Your choices

You can play with illustrated body parts without camera permission. Camera and Photos access are controlled in iOS Settings. Saved images can be deleted in Photos. Deleting the app removes its local preferences, unless a device backup restores them. Apple keeps App Store purchase records so purchases can be restored.
